Hi all,
Subject is way off topic, but it's still somewhat technical. ;)
Cox is offering digital telephone service for a flat $34.95 per month
(excluding taxes). This includes local service and unlimited long distance
for the entire US (intra and inter state calls). I currently pay around
$60-65 using Qwest for local and long distance, so Cox would represent a
significant cost savings.
I spoke with a rep and they said they include all the "bells & whistles"
Qwest does - i.e. caller ID, caller rejection, call forwarding, etc.
included in that price and I can keep my existing phone #.
I've been quite happy with Cox's broadband service and their TV service.
Does anyone have Cox's phone service? What is your experience with their
service?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter

I just started using Lingo VOIP.
500 anywhere US/Canada minutes and dial tone is $14.95. Unlimited minutes is
$19.95. You can have multiple phone numbers in multiple locations
(additional fee) and take the lingo box with you when you travel.

Email me off list if you are interested and I can get a $25 service credit
for the referral. When you are a member, you can refer other for credit too.
