I don't have specific info for Thunderbird but in general, every client
has their own concept of mapping their fields to ldap attributes.
Thunderbird is from Mozilla and their concept has roots from the
Netscape Directory Server and the schema necessary for mozilla clients
isn't part of openldap's core/cosine/inetOrgperson schema's. You would
have to find information on a mozillaPerson schema and then incorporate
it into openldap. I also remember seeing a post somewhere that
Mozilla/Thunderbird is contemplating changing their attribute mapping...
