Remember how I was going to recompile my kernel for the debian 3.0r1? Well, I
am now searching for the kernel in the the instalation cds and I found a
kernel-config file at the above address.

My question is how do I run the program? I tried:

root@1[3.0.23-2002-05-21]# ./kernel-config
bash: ./kernel-config: Permission denied
root@1[3.0.23-2002-05-21]#        

But that didn't work for reason shown.
