While Open Office doesn't have a database module, it *does* have a database front end and a very versitle one at that.[1] Open Office interfaces with many popular database formats as well as the Mozilla address book.
By the way, one thing that Munich did to get workers to learn Linux and Open Office is to have the a female demo the program in front of all workers. That ended all complaints from the males that they couldn't handle the transistion!
