Subject: Re: /proc error during reboot (Gentoo)
Rudolfo,

/usr/src/linux is still there my latest mistake. After
I sent the email I found out that I was in fact
looking on the cd directory. However I was right about
one thing: I did add proc fs support to the kernel. I
typed make menuconfig and proc fs was there as were
all the other things I had setup. One question: do I
need automount support is that what the problems is? I
noticed automount was not selected. by the way it is
post stage 3 and am using gentoo-sources
2.4.26-gentoo-r13 on a pentium 4 compaq laptop. I am
wiling to install again... for some odd reason I enjoy
a good gentoo installation.
hey some people play halo all day long.. I install
gentoo.. seriously tho, wondering if you can point me
in the right direction.

for example I'm doing a stage 2 install with gentoo
sources and the exact stage i'm using is
stage2-pentium4-2004.3

what do you think?
