What about just editing your hosts.allow file?
Mine is under /etc/hosts.allow (Redaht 9)
it contains:
sshd: my.ip.address : ALLOW
also hosts.deny contains:
sshd: ALL : DENY
Thus ssh rejects all other attempts at connection
Help any?
