It's a go! My boss really liked the idea and I'm going to start tomorrow.

I 'm going to use IPcop, along with DansGuardian if I can figure out how to
install it. If I can't figure it out I'll just put a hosts file in it.
I have two questions:
1. Does anybody have a link to a howto for installing DansGuardian on IPcop
1.4 ? It's probably hiding in plain sight on the IPcop or DansGuardian
website, but I haven't found it yet.
2. The LAN is running WinXP Home, w/out SP2. We're _not_ going to install SP2.
We have disabled RAW sockets on the Windows machines. I've heard that IPcop
won't work with RAW sockets disabled on WinXP, as when people have installed
SP2.
I don't even understand what RAW sockets are or what they do. Can anyone
elucidate? Will I have any unusual problems setting this up because of the
RAW sockets being disabled?
