Subject: bash not allowing cfgmaker to recieve snmp stirng
I am trying to use cfgmaker like "cfgmaker 4%67*998#@ipaddresss" but the
problem is that I will get

bash: : event not found

What can I use to escape all characters in the string so that it the
snmp community gets passed to cfgmaker, I tried "[" and "/" but neither
worked.
