you know the thought did cross my mind: "to heck with it, I'll run this meeting".. lol
that would have been funny.
I could have taught the people there how to spell linux correctly and then would have opened it up for discussions.
but serisouly i did get a chance to answer some newbie questions as best as I could.
It was not a big deal I ended up having a bit of fun while I was there.

I am sorry that no meeting happened at the West Side tonight! That had to be
frustrating. The meeting was not officially cancelled but, obviously, no one
made sure that a presentation was available.
In this case, I don't think anyone took control of the meeting to make sure
something was planned. We know Steve has made sure that the room is reserved
(thanks, Steve). However, this time the meeting person did not make sure a
presentation was available.
When this sort of thing happens, you, PLUGgers, are more than welcome to take
the meeting over, so to speak. I hope you had some discussion about
something while you wondered if someone was going to show up.
Do you know who was there? If you were at the meeting, please email me off
list. I'll see what I can do to make up for it.
