In addition to my previous post, I found the following line in my
/var/log/messages file:
Sep 19 22:51:51 lnx3 scsi.agent[1717]: bogus sysfs
DEVPATH=/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:03.1/usb3/3-1/3-1:1.0/host0/0:0:0:0
I have no clue what this means but the word 'bogus' caught my ear:).
Wonder if that could be causing my problems.
