Subject: Re: USB Mass Storage devices
Well, I looked around in the dmesg listing and this is all I found.
Informative perhaps but no mention of SDA, SDB, ...
This is what I pulled from the log after connecting the USB device.
usb 3-1: new full speed USB device using address 2
scsi0 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
Vendor: NEUROS Model: dig. audio comp. Rev: 1.00
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
USB Mass Storage device found at 2
Attached scsi generic sg0 at scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0, type 0

And when I do a 'cdrecord -scanbus', it confirms this by listing the
Neuros device at 0,0,0.

I didn't compile in the /dev/fs structure so do not have a /dev/scsi
any place.

Also, doing a 'fdisk -l /dev/sda' comes back empty. It also comes
back empty for sdb thru sdd.

Another interesting point is every time I unplug the Neuros and plug
it back in again, the first SCSI number goes up by 1. Then the
- -scanbus would reveal something like 1,0,0 and so on.

Any other ideas?
