Well, I did it for testing purposes. Originally it was changed to 770 then 775
but neither of those worked so I tried 777 (which didn't work either). In the
end I changed it back to what it started as (755).

Wait, if I chown -> my user (1) maybe that will change something.
Bummer, that didn't help any.
And if I chmod: no help.
Am I modifying the correct file?..... I just widened the error window to
reveal the title of it is:

    Could not claim the USB device.


So then it is:

    chgrp ttyUSB1 gtkam (2)


That isn't it.

Stuck again. (would someone kindly tell me which groups ttyUSB1&2 are in? I'm
trying to change it back to it's original state.
