This same question has come up at work recently. The short answer is
there doesn't seem to be much of anything available right now.
If you can find a qlogic QLA 1280 or QLA 12160, you may be able to get
thier source code to work for you. It was originally written for RedHat
6.X, so it may not be worth the effort to port it.

Sadly, it's "no longer supported".
