Good question. I personally don't give a rat's tushie about running at 8X;
4X is find with me. I don't care either if I can only get binary drivers as
long as I can get them. But I was looking at ordering a motherboard which
said that it had an 8X AGP slot, so I wanted to find something that was
compatible with that. (Or I could just use the PCI slot.) I guess I should
look at the specs again, it may also support 4X, like the last mobo I bought.
BTW, thanks to all for the recommendations.
