You know, I tryed to figure it out. It is like my swap is a gig. There is
1,025,000 (1 gig and some extra). So this means HIGHMEM is not configured in.
Does this mean I have 393GIGs of physical memory? I don't think I put that
much in. (it is so old I doubt my home grown computer can even take that
much) So I suppose I have 386K of memory detected and in use. But is there
393gigs available is the question I have. And if that is the case how could I
learn how to compile a new kernel to make use of all of this memory? Would it
actually make a difference. This past holiday weekend the internet, for me,
was very slow. Would increasing the memory lessen what happened this weekend?
