Subject: Re: mount, unmount, and listing the contents of the CD-Rom

I did it! I turned it into this:

        [Desktop Entry]
        Encoding=UTF-8
        Icon=cdrom_unmount
        Name[en_US]=Mount CD-Rom
        Type=Application
        Exec=sudo mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /mnt/auto/cdrom;konqueror file:/
        mnt/auto/cdrom
        #;sudo umount /dev/cdrom

I don't know why it would make a difference which directory I mounted the
drive into but for some reson it matters. Would someone kindly explain this
to me?

Ohhhhhhhhh. I see. It starts a program called 'automounter' durring bootup
and that program is what determines the directories.
