Problems listening to KJZZ with xmms

I'm having problems with streaming KJZZ and I think it's at my
end, not on the server. Basically I can connect to the mp3 stream
but it seems that every so often (30s-2minutes), it'll just skip
to a later (or sometimes earlier) part of the stream. Am I just getting
out of sync due to latency?
