up2date kernel-source
should indeed work - you may have to designate which kernel - that you
could get from 'uname -a'
Also, kernel files by default are skipped by up2date. You could enable
them but I generally would 'force - download' - i.e.
# uname -a
Linux linuxserver.azapple.com 2.4.20-24.8 #1 Mon Dec 1 13:18:54 EST 2003
i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux
up2date -fd kernel-source-2.4.20-24.8
rpm -ivh /var/spool/up2date/kernel-source-2.4.20-24.8*rpm
