I have successfully used PayPal for two businesses for three years. I have
received probably around $15,000 or more using PayPal. It has worked great
for me.

It is inconvenient that you have to be a PayPal member to make a payment
though but it does ensure the integrity of the system and makes sure that
payments are available.

I also have an ecount account, but it is never used so I can't comment on
it.

For my own business, I also accept American Express and prefer that my
customers send a regular check (or money order).

I am also interested in being able to receive other credit cards and I am
glad this "Web Credit Card Transactions" thread was started.
