Not really. But Jobs told the Mac folks something like 'The war is=20
over. Microsoft won.'

There was a big deal between MS and Apple in 1997. MS gave Apple $150 M=20=

for some non-voting stock which they have since sold for a tidy profit=20=

plus another undisclosed amount, rumored to be more than $150 M to=20
settle the lawsuit that Apple filed against them after the string '=A9=20=

Apple Computer 19xx' was found in Windows Media Player. MS never denied=20=

that Apple code was in their program but claimed that a contractor had=20=

put it there without their knowledge. MS agreed to keep making Mac=20
Office for several years and Apple agreed to make IE the default=20
browser on the Mac.=
