Subject: virus is our friend
Is this why I received a mail from an ISP informing me that I sent one of
their customers a virus. I wasn;t even on my home computer (it was a school
box) and I hadn't sent anyone anything. In fact, the user was and still is
unknown to me.

~ Actually, many new virii (including the recent few) spoof their 'from'
~ addresses. The "From:" line in the email does *not* indiciate the person
~ who sent it. Thus, sending this reply would not be of any value - the
~ "sender" may not be infected at all. In fact, the "sender" may well even
~ be running Linux themselves.
