Need to get into M$ laptop

I was issued a challenge and didn't realize that all the pieces wouldn't
be available.

I have a Win2K laptop that I need to investigate what has been removed
(disgruntled ex-employee).

There is no CD-ROM (I know, Knoppix would've been great) only a floppy
drive.

Is there a floppy based distro with ntfs drivers that I can use to get
into this thing with?

If I can, I'd lftp the contents elsewhere then investigate.
