Subject: Unable to Install Fedora 1.0 on Blank HD
I downloaded the 3 Fedora ISO's and burned (Win XP system) them to CD's.

When I boot with the Fedora #1 CD in the CD drive, it does not find a
bootable image on the CD and eventually asks for a bootable disk in the A
drive. Note, the HD is brand new having never been partitioned.

When I boot with the RH 8.0 #1 CD in the CD drive, it boots well.

1) Any ideas why the Fedora 1.0 CD isn't bootable?

2) Should I have done something other than a simple burn?

3) Is there a way to install RH 8.0 (of 9.0) then upgrade to Fedora via a
non-bootable CD.

4) Is there a source for a floppy disk to boot from?

5) Any other ideas?

Thanks,

George
