Subject: US Government-funded Linux Project Found
I came across this (now closed) US government project proposal while=

browsing. It is to develop, for Linux, an open source interface for traff=

(signal) controls as in red-light and green-light. In other words, develo=

this bit of open source and get paid for it. (But I'm oversimplifying the=

process in the extreme.)
This is part of the SBIR program, Small Business Innovation Research=
, no=20
doubt something each of us is paying for through our taxes.
     See http://www.volpe.dot.gov/sbir/sol03/sec8full.html#03-FH5=20
     Interesting...
