Subject: wierdness with 100BaseT interface in linux.
I would stay away from the $10 NIC's from Fry's as alot of the time they use
a generic module to make it work, and it is a weak link. I have a 1 gig card
I gave $50 for and it is certified by Mandrake, Redhat, SuSE etc.. The more
you pay for hardware the better the quality. If you want mediocre
performance go for the cheapie!!
