FWIW, ECS has probably been doing SiS/AMD chipset boards more than anyone
else. However, they have a (somewhat earned rep as makers of cheap boards,
typically low on the OC crowd features
Their boards are okay-- the famous K7S5A (SiS735) and S6A (SiS745) are
entirely workable if properly set up.
You could try asking about it on the ECS forum at ocworkbench.com, or
alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.elitegroup
Given the eternity it took for 386 compatibility to matter, then MMX and the
like, plus the low likelihood of Intel working with x86-64 in the short term,
the sensible way is to wait for Windows XP/64 to arrive, and the A64 to appear
in more quantity and lower price.
I recall seeing the advert the first day of availability and a 3200+ and mobo
was USD 600!
