It seems that Cox doesn't support anyone but their Windows customers
running Internet Explorer. http://support.cox.net. Something has got to
be done about this and I recommend everyone here (who's a Cox HSI
subscriber) e-mail the webmaster about it. I can't even view any of
their various legal documents that I have to agree to, subscriber
agreement, AUP, online privacy policy, etc. This is unfair, not only to
the linux community which has apparently been gaining market share, but
also the [previously] officially supported Mac users. They even show a
G4 on one of their sales pages.
I apologize for this semi-off topic post but this has me quite irate and
I believe that something needs to be done about it, desperately. Cox
customers, nor anyone with an internet connection, should be blocked
from the very basic information regarding their service.
