If you like the Social Contract and you know Debian users, then Debian is
what you should use.

I use RH8.0 and am experimenting with Fedora (my debian machines are not
running X). I also prefer Gnome but don't like the default window manager. I
like sawfish simply because I can customize my keyboard shortcuts to do
pretty much anything.
