That's somewhat encouraging to me, because I'm a developer with no admin
credentials. I have a small amount of SQL experience a few years back, but I
will definitely brush up on it if there's a good market for that. My theory
is that database customization is something that small-to-medium businesses
need, something they're unlikely to go offshore for.

Regarding the security angle that you mentioned in your last post, I think
that we all could benefit from more of a security focus. But it's definitely
something that takes a commitment from management, otherwise it gets thrown
out in the effort to make the deadline or to cut costs. In today's climate,
if employers demand developers with good security skills, people will get in
line quickly.
