Subject: Qwest HSI
I have Qwest VDSL and it comes in over the standard 4-wire telephone=
=20
cable. I was amazed because we get two telephones, three TV channels and=20
1Mbit up/down internet access through those wires. The 4 telephone wires =
go=20
to a "Qwest" box that's plugged into the wall for power. From that box=20
there's a piece of RG-59 that goes to (my) splitter and, thence, to three=
=20
TVs, the telephone cable to my phones inside the house, and the internet=20
cable that goes to my firewall and, thence, to my systems.
     I presume this is "broadband" technology. Pretty cool.
