Subject: Why doesn't this FTP work with Linux?
I agree with him, try it with passive mode off, some firewalls have
problems with it. Your windows clients may disable it automaticly when
they try and fail to use passive mode. Its also possible that your
firewall may need to be configured to enable FTP use over nat so that
passive mode works. This is very likely your issue.
