No, I was a doubtless childish venting of frustration. Windows does
make itself a target, however, by containing items that are essentially
commercials for Windows and in this case, HP. They seem gratuitous. The
lady already had the computer and the OS. I suppose the notion is that
all her friends were going to see it and want one just like it.

I'm sorry but I can' visualize a situation in which Windows XP Home
Edition is the best tool for the job. It seemed to be Windows XP with
stuff missing.
