Subject: IMac USB repair
One a mips-based tivo-like box (manufacture to remain nameless to avoid
getting flamed) a voltage regulator (big capacitor next to the cpu) is being
held on by some tape masking tape. It has
worked fine for 6 months this way even though it has been moved several
times. It does not need to be pretty to be functional.
