Subject: recommendations for a log consolidation system?
Check out msyslog at http://sourceforge.net/projects/msyslog . You can
connect to MySQL and then easily create PHP code (there are probably
existing projects but we created our own) and use cron jobs to clean
cruft.

Note though that it makes a huge database pretty quickly, especially
with 30 systems.
