I did the xBase thing from dBaseII,III,III+,Clipper, FoxBase+,FoxPro,VFP........

VFP is THE best tool ever! Hands down. FoxPro has the fastest file server data engine and scales very well. It's RAD and OO. Prototyping is extremely easy as well. Most businesses need only file server technology anyway.
