All hail the Gentoo gods!
Ok, so that's a bit extreme but I really really really really like
gentoo. If you're a newbie, this'll be a little much but if you've got
some experience and some good hardware, it's seriously worth it. I'm in
love with the package management system too. It's similar to Debian's
(from what I hear) by downloading (this is a distro for those with
broadband or lots of time and a modem) and compiling all the packages
needed, without any unnecessary fluff.
