Derek pointed out apt-get.org. I needed Java for a client and got everythin=
g
with unofficial sources.

The problem with Java is that the JVM from Sun ( and those derived from it,
e.g. IBM's JVM ) are not DFSG free ( not Free Software ), so they can't be
included in debian.

Some of us agree with debian's stance, especially when there's a mostly
painless workaround.
