As a NORMAL user, i.e. the user you use all the time.. Choose the K(Gear
button) then select "Settings", then select "Control Center"
In the Kontrol Center....
Choose the KDE Components tree... It should have a node called File
Associations. Highlight that. In the right side, there should be a
tree called "text" expand that. It should show a lot of file types.
Select html. Then modify Application Preference order accordingly..
