If a site wants to set more than 3 cookies, I generally don't ever go
back to that site. Too intrusive for me.

The other option is to reject all cookies without asking. Then, you can
enable cookies for those sites that you want to allow or that require
they be enabled for the content you need. Mozilla has that capability.
