Okay after thinking about it a bit I realized that all I needed to do
was ll /dev/dvd it was *not* set the same as ll /dev/cdrom was so I
removed it then create a new sybolic link lrwxrwxrwx 1 root
root 9 Sep 14 18:11 /dev/dvd -> /dev/scd0
like I said this is all working for VCD so I'm assuming that that's the
correct dev. However Mplayer is *still* not working. Any thoughts?
