Subject: Dual boot on secondary drive
I have a friend who wishes to install Linux on his secondary hard drive with
Windows 2000 on the primary. There are instructions on the net, such as this
one: http://www.geocities.com/epark/linux/grub-w2k-HOWTO.html, that I know
work when using one hard drive.

But, would such instructions work if the /boot partition is on the secondary
hard drive with the rest of Linux?

Or, must the /boot partition be on the primary hard drive with the rest of
Linux on the secondary?

If you have done this, how did you make it work?
