Yes, we Python users are a lonely bunch lately. Every month, the e-mail
comes from meetup.com, saying "Unfortunately...not enough people..."
The sole Python programmer in Las Vegas and I constitute the "Python
Users Group of the Greater SouthWestern Region". Two guys.
It's almost that bad. :-)
But I've got a tiny little application in CGI (Python, of course!) that
will outgrow itself soon, and I plan to recast it into mod_python. As I
read it, the know-how required is mostly about Apache handlers -- they
just "happen" to be implemented in Python.
So I am looking for someone who is hard-core in Apache know-how. (I'm
daunted by the complexity / versatility of this server!)
Even if you know squat about Python itself (it's very easy to scan).
Someone who will consult with me on the architecture of this app, as it
would be re-implemented using mod_python.
Please contact me off-line, with your bona fides and per-hour charges.
It will be two-four weeks before I get started. You will not be coding
as much as architecting (and perhaps showing me where I went wrong!).
