By default, Vixie Cron logs using the LOG_CRON facility (and LOG_INFO
level). Have a look at your /etc/syslog.conf to see where syslogd logs it.

On Debian boxes, cron often logs to /var/log/syslog.

Also, make sure your cron daemon is running.
