Ummm, that's a gzipped tar file. Try `tar -xzvf nist-2.1.12.tar.gz`. The
'z' tellse tar to pass the file through gunzip so it can have the tar
file itself, instead of the gzip file.

Do what?=20
Well I went to zdo.com and downloaded the file. It does not want to unzip!
The only thing that I could think of that might be causing the problem is t=
he=20
permissions. As such I changed them to 770 yet that had no effect on the=20
outcome. I'm going to show you all what I did in the hopes that I am just=20
doing something stupid that can be easily corrected.
