Subject: Dummy file
On my desktop there is a floppy disk icon. That says to me, "Click here and
see what is on your disk!" Great. So I click it and nothing happens except a
blank /mnt/floppy window opens up. To make sure that it is a dummy file I
dragged and dropped a file in the window. The file was copied onto the
/mnt/floppy window but the drive didn't even spin. The same thing happened
when I dragged a file onto the fd0 icon. So I am left wondering, "How in the
world do you make this dummy fd0 icon into a real one?"

ps The CDrom drive does the same thing which will make it rather hard to
update this thing when such a time arises.

Rest assured, I am writing down all of the answers given so I can rergurgitate
them to anyone else who ever asks!
