complained that my ISO (created via mkisofs) was too large for a CD and=20
aborted. A quick search found that dvdrecord is an almost exact clone of=

cdrecord only with the ISO size limit expanded and a couple other quick=20
changes.

mkisofs+dvdrecord makes great backups to DVD of our entire database at th=

hours mark via cron. I just leave a blank DVD in the drive and go home. =

When I come in in the morning, the drive is ejected and the DVD is ready =

Toughest part of the whole thing was that the first time, I had to "insmo=

ide-scsi" which autodetected the burner and assigned a SCSI ID. After t=

That is all under Redhat 8.0. Call me if you have any questions.
