That would be, but the opening documentation lists making sources available
when they were available. That implies that sources were not available for
some of the tools he's put on the CD.
Don't trust security tools for which you don't have the source code.

Well, then he needs to fix the wording.
I found the following in the knoppix-std FAQ:
"How is Knoppix-STD licensed?
STD is based off of the original Knoppix distribution and retains all of th=

original licenses from that distribution. All additions that I have made ar=
e
covered under GPL."
That contradicts what's on the CD.
Your dist is also mentioned in the FAQ :).
