There is another package to make you a CLIENT of appletalk - its referenced
in the netatalk web pages above. Beware - if you decide you want netatalk,
then you want to get the netatalk+asun version! The non-asun changes
WILL NOT WORK... At least, they did not for me. I'm using

    netatalk-1.4b2+asun2.1.3
