Howdy. I have a old laptop (toshiba 420 CDT, p1-100, 40 MB, 20 GB, ) that I would like to
get working.
I however do not have a boot medium, so I have tried installing various OS's on a hard
drive and then transplanting them into the laptop. Under Windows it will not recognive the
hd as a valid system disk. Under linux I get the following:

because this machine has
no ROM BASIC.
