I generally go to a new virtual terminal and run xinit -- :1, then
launch xvncviewer. As I do lots of stuff that window managers try to
intercept (ctrl-click) for example. It actually works really nicely as
you can have your host and client machines set at same resolution and in
full screen mode (f8) it appears you are sitting on the host.
